will soon be visited by attendees of the 12th edition of Muestra de Cine de Lanzarote, one of the most prestigious film festivals in recent years thanks to a specially selected programme that offers films not yet released in Spain, along with others related to the theme chosen this year: fishing.

This time, the age-old and local craft features in the Trasfoco section  - in addition to conferences, meetings and excursions around the island - which will offer titles such as the classic black and white Men of Aran, by the British Robert J. The team of this event, held between 24 November and 4 December in different locations on the island, is directed by Javier Fuentes Feo and organised by the (independent) Tenique Cultural Association. They have put together an Official Section with five feature films, which will be judged by a committee at an open discussion and with the public present.

(Colombia/Romania/France/Germany), following its success in Venice, DOK Leipzig, Zinebi and Gijón, is already one of the films of the year, and its director Theo Montoya will be in Lanzarote to talk to the audience.
