Le Centre croate de l'Audiovisuel, qui est l'organisme officiel pour le financement des films, a sélectionné 17 projets de longs métrages (sur 71 candidats) qui bénéficieront de financements en 2009. La montant total des aides distribuées, qui est de 3.914.265 €, est réparti entre quatre catégories : longs métrages, premiers longs métrages, coproductions et un projet collectif.
