Les Shooting Stars sur le site de l'EFP

Cécile de France représente la France dans l’édition 2003 de ‘Shooting stars’, organisée comme chaque année par l’EFP. La jeune actrice est l’une des protagonistes du dernier film de Cédric Klapish, L’auberge espagnole: d’origine belge, la comédienne figure déjà dans le casting de nombreux films. Au-delà du succès télévisé Nana réalisé par Edouard Molinaro, et théâtral (Electre sous la direction de Claudia Stavisky), elle a tenu le rôle principal dans le premier film de Richard Berry, L’art (délicat) de la séduction et est la protagoniste dans Irène, début derrière la caméra d’Ivan Calbérac, actuellement en tournage.

«I'm very happy because I made a movie called L'auberge espagnole by Cédric Klapisch which will be shown in many, many countries.
And I hope that many people will see it, because it is a European movie. It is a story of a French student who goes to Barcelona to be part of the Erasmus-program and she will meet many European students. It is a film about the new generation. When I work with a director I try to adopt his universe, his mind, his imagination and so it is the same with the culture of the different European countries. All you pass through in someone’s universe is so interesting and it is the same with the culture and the countries. Vive la jeunesse, vive le cinéma et vive l'Europe».
