Les Shooting Stars sur le site de l'EFP

L’Allemagne a choisi sa jeune star: il s’agit de Daniel Bruehl (24 ans). Bruehl a déjà été récompensé par le prix Max Ophüls pour son interprétation dans Das weisse Rauschen de Hans Weingartner où il jouait un jeune schizophrène, ainsi que le German Award comme meilleur acteur pour les films Nichts bereuen de Benjamin Quabeck, Das weisse Rauschen et Vaya con dios de Zoltan Spirandelli.
Les différents pays devront présenter leur «Shooting Star» avant le 1er décembre prochain.

I had to get in contact with people from former East-Germany, that was the most important thing: the time of preparation. And so it was like a history-lesson for me because during history-lessons in school I used to sleep and so I had to work on that.
In Europe there should be more co-productions, but I think it is getting better. It is always difficult for an actor to get good scripts, you are always waiting for a good one. It is good to be known in other countries, so that the possibility to get a good script is bigger. That's my motto for today and tonight: 'Alles wird gut' - 'Everything will be fine'».
