sinossi
La vicenda si concentra sulla piccola Liesel, una vivace bambina affidata a genitori adottivi che sarà suo malgrado testimone degli orrori della Germania nazista. Un giorno torna a casa con un libro rubato e inizia a collezionarne sempre di più appassionandosi alla lettura mentre i genitori adottivi nascondono un ebreo rifugiato sotto le scale.
