In this year’s annual bid, the Kosovo Cinematography Center (KCC) has supported 17 films.

scheda film]; and The Dossier Man, written and produced by Arian Krasniqi, and directed by Ismet Sijarina.

As a minority co-production, the KCC has also supported the Macedonian project Freedom or Die by Vladimir Blazevski, known for his successful film Punk’s Not Dead.

This year, the centre launched a special call for micro-budget debut films, a list where three works found support: The Death of Haki, A Prishtina Story and Sleep and Love. Four films have also been funded for script development, including the documentary Gjakmarrja, written and directed by Marija Zidar and produced by Danijel Hocevar. Four other documentaries have been selected for funding: Meet Enver Hadri by Gilles Coton, People of Baushtelle by Ilir Hasanaj, Msitnia by Genc Mehmetaj and Dren Berisha, and Tregimi i tregimtarit by Gazmend Avdiu. Lastly, the KCC has supported a short film and an animated movie.
