iDROPS announces the second edition of !FLAB; an ingenious project – supported by Creative Europe Media – where innovative experts and media-professionals will swiftly develop new digital skills in the framework of “interactive factual storytelling”.

Consisting of tutorials, hands-on workshops and professional mentorship over six months with experts coming from America, England, Belgium and Canada, participants will develop their idea into a working prototype and create finance and marketing plans to take their project onward. 

To get the most from the initiative, !FLAB recommends attending all three workshops. The workshops are three different “boosters” –a mix of talks and tutorials from a consistent group of coaches and innovators in media-rich storytelling, plus exploration, testing and development of the participant’s own interactive factual story idea– held at three European locations.

The Story Booster will take place from 30 April to 3 May at the Docville International Film Festival (Leuven, Belgium). The Design Booster will be held from 18 to 21 August at The Conference in Malmö (Malmö, Sweden). And the Code Booster will welcome participants from 29 October to 2 November at the DOK Leipzig Festival (Leipzig, Germany). However, it is also possible to attend only one or two events, especially if the participant has already an idea in production.
