Questo articolo è disponibile in inglese.

The Film London Production Finance Market (PFM) turns 10 this year and will take place 11-13 October in association with the British Film Institute (BFI) London Film Festival. The PFM is open to producers across the world who can pitch projects budgeted at €1million and above to international financiers. This year, the Micro Market, PFM’s strand for films budgeted up to €1 million, is seeking to ensure 50% of producers and financiers in attendance come from mainland Europe.

Adrian Wootton, Chief Executive of Film London and the British Film Commission, said, “For ten years the PFM has been forging connections between those with great ideas and those with the ability to bring them to the big screen. Every year we seek to improve the experience and make it even more valuable for filmmakers and financiers, and 2016 is set to be no different. From streamlining the online application process and working with a wide range of high-profile international partners to opening Micro Market up more fully to mainland Europe and providing more networking opportunities than ever before, this year’s PFM is set to be a standout. As ever the application process is sure to be extremely competitive, so I advise filmmakers and financiers alike to work hard to hone those applications for the UK’s one and only finance market.”

PFM is supported by Creative Europe, the Mayor of London, Creative Skillset, BFI and UK Trade & Investment. The Market has partnerships with the Rome International Film Festival’s New Cinema Network, the Melbourne International Film Festival's 37º South Market, the Ile de France Film Commission, the Toronto International Film Festival's International Financing Forum, the Nordic Co-Production Market at the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund and the Trieste Film Festival’s co-production market When East Meets West.
