German sales agent Global Screen is heading to the impending Cannes Film Market with a strong line-up that includes gripping thrillers, touching dramas and fantastic animated adventures for younger age groups. A box-office hit, having taken more than two million admissions in Germany, the moving real-life story This Crazy Heart [+leggi anche:

scheda film]), a real-estate developer is blackmailed while taking his kids to school by car. If he doesn’t pay up, his car will be blown up. Global Screen will also provide a first glimpse of Alvart’s new nerve-wracking psycho-thriller Cut Off, in which an artist is trapped on a lonely island with a killer.
The impulsive nature of forbidden love and its unpredictable consequences are explored by Barnaby Southcombe in his upcoming love story Scarborough [+leggi anche:

The 3D animated film Marnie’s World by Academy Award-winning brothers Christoph and Wolfgang Lauenstein (Luis and the Aliens) will be presented as a market premiere. The family-entertainment movie is about a smart cat and her quirky friends who find themselves caught up in a larger-than-life adventure.
