The festival round at the end of summer promises to be particularly fruitful for the French international sales company Indie Sales. The team, managed by Nicolas Eschbach (and supported by Clémentine Hugot) will be showcasing eight feature films as part of its line-up at the Venice-Toronto-San Sebastian triptych, with a total of ten selections (two titles scoring a double whammy), including five world premieres and one international premiere.

Indie Sales will be showcasing two films due to make their world premieres on the Lido at the 75th Venice Film Festival, which kicked off yesterday. Real Love [+leggi anche:

) will be unveiled to the public today at the Giornate degli Autori. A family drama, this Dharamsala production starring the Belgian actor Bouli Lanners and young cast members Justine Lacroix and Sarah Henochsberg will be distributed in France by Mars Films on a date that has yet to be determined.

) will be making its world premiere at Venice in the Orizzonti section before joining the Discovery programme at the 43rd edition of Toronto Film Festival (from 6 to 16 September). Recounting the misadventures of a Palestinian thirty-year-old attempting to establish himself as a screenwriter for a popular soap opera about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the feature film was produced by Luxembourg (38% via Samsa Films), France (25% with TS Productions), Israel (25% - Lama Films) and Belgium (12% - Artémis Productions).

Indie Sales intends to make some good deals at Toronto with a further four films, including Mademoiselle de Joncquières [+leggi anche:

by Emmanuel Mouret (starring Cécile de France, Edouard Baer, Alice Isaaz and Laure Calamy), which is due to make its world premiere in the Platform competition. Love and cruel revenge in eighteenth century high society are on the cards in this Moby Dick Films production (co-produced by Arte France Cinéma and Reborn Production), which will be released in French cinemas by Pyramide on 12 September.

Also world premiering (in the Special Presentations programme) as part of Indie Sales’ line-up at Toronto is Mothers' Instinct [+leggi anche:

by the Belgian director Olivier Masset-Depasse, which focuses on a friendship between two women – played by Veerle Baetens and Anne Coesens – that takes a dramatic and disturbing turn. A Versus and Haut et Court production (which will be managing the film's French release).

by Natalia Meschchaninova, a production involving Russia and Lithuania (Just A Moment), due to make its international premiere in the Contemporary World Cinema section. The film – several sequences of which had been shown at the Arcs Film Festival's Work in Progress – will then head off to the66th San Sebastian Film Festival (from 21 to 29 September) where it will participate in the New Directors competition. 

Finally, the Brazilian animated film Tito and The Birds by Gustavo Steinberg, Gabriel Bitar and André Catoto, which premiered at Annecy Film Festival, will be screened in the Discovery programme at Toronto.

The Indie Sales team will be then head to San Sebastian to showcase three titles. As well as Core of the World, the New Directors competition will also see the world premiere of the first feature film by the French director Romain Laguna, Meteorites [+leggi anche:
