The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival has rounded off its Official Selection by adding another 11 titles after the initial eight announced last week (see the news). In the newly unveiled group of films, five are European.

), is a story about Anna and Petros, a Greek couple who recently moved to an industrial town in Siberia and are shocked to discover that Anna is pregnant with no prior intercourse. The film is a co-production between Greece, France and Latvia.

). The story is about a maths professor in the midst of a mid-life crisis who is about to leave his girlfriend, but whose plans change when he finds out that she is pregnant. The movie first screened at the Transilvania Film Festival in June this year.

), set to have its world premiere at Tallinn, is set in an upmarket rental villa on a hot summer’s day, where four friends are waiting for a fifth, who has had an unforgettable emotional impact on all of them in the past.

Polish filmmaker Adrian Panek is coming to Tallinn with his second film, Werewolf [+leggi anche:

, which recently landed him the Best Directing Award at Gdinya. It's a World War II thriller about eight children who have escaped from a concentration camp and are hiding in a secluded villa to avoid the bloodthirsty hounds that have been released by the SS officers before their retreat.

, the second directorial effort by Germany's Josef Bierbichler, best known as an actor (The White Ribbon [+leggi anche:

), is set in Bavaria in the summer of 1984, where an embittered father and his estranged son are staying behind at the funeral of their wife and mother after the guests have left. In an attempt to reconnect with his son, the father tells him his life story and his perspective on the life-changing events in German history that he has witnessed.

Another five of the titles announced hail from Asia: Asandhimitta by Sri Lanka's Asoka Handagama, the UAE-US co-production AWAKEN by Tom LoweKadakh by India's Rajat KapoorSheeple by Iran's Hooman Seyedi, and Winter's Night by Korean filmmaker Woo-jin Jang
