Written by the director in collaboration with Laura Piani (Menina) and Julie Bonnie after the latter's novel Une autre que moi, the screenplay focuses on Jeanne, 50, an assistant on a maternity ward. Following her daughter’s departure and an accident that threatens to topple the balance of her working environment, her secret past rears its head with the appearance of Abel, an ex-member of the rock band she used to front...

Produced by Marine Arrighi de Casanova for Apsara Films, Into the World has been pre-purchased by Canal + and OCS and has also benefited from the support of the regions of New Aquitaine and South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, as well Sofica La Banque Postale Image. The feature began filming on 21 January in Marseille and La Rochelle and will be both distributed in France and sold internationally by Pyramide.

Apsara Films recently co-produced the documentary Last Night I Saw You Smiling [+leggi anche:

by Kavich Neang (unveiled in the Bright Future section at Rotterdam Film Festival –where it was crowned Best Asian Film – and soon be screened in competition at Cinéma du Réel) and will also act as a partner on White Building, the filmmaker's first feature film, still in association with the Cambodian company Anti Archive (Davy Chou), filming is scheduled for next autumn.
