15 feature projects from 15 different countries have been selected to participate in the 15th edition of the Cinéfondation Atelier, which is due to take place at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival (from 14 to 25 May).

Finally, the Spanish director Anna Bofarull has been selected for the workshop with Sinjar, her third feature project after Sonata for Cello [+leggi anche:

Created in 2005 in order to encourage creative cinema and the emergence of a new generation of filmmakers by helping them to finance their films, the Cinéfondation Workshop has already supported 198 projects, 157 of which have gone on to have a theatrical release, with the rest currently in pre-production. The workshop will allow the selected 2019 individuals to attend the festival with their producers from May 16 to 23 and to meet professionals interested in their projects. The book of projects and registration forms will be available at the beginning of April on the Cinéfondation website.
