- La compagnia di Belgrado è ora il distributore theatrical autorizzato per 20th Century Fox e Disney in Serbia, Montenegro e Kosovo

Serbian distributor MegaCom Film (MCF) has announced that it signed an exclusive theatrical distribution licence with Disney for the territories of Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo on 4 May.
This move marks a shift in the split of Hollywood majors' theatrical distribution licensees in Serbia, with MCF now representing 20th Century Fox and Disney, while the former Disney distributor Taramount Film now has Paramount and Universal, and Croatian companies Blitz and Continental Film are releasing films from Warner Bros and Sony, respectively.
MCF appeared on the scene in 2004 and soon became one of the most successful independent distributors of films in Serbia, regularly releasing arthouse favourites from Cannes, Venice, Berlin and other high-profile festivals.
MCF currently operates two multiplexes in Belgrade and one in the southern Serbian city of Niš, and has launched the streaming platform mojOFF, which has been functioning as an online cinema since the closure of the movie theatres owing to the COVID-19 situation. Titles released on the platform include An Officer and a Spy [+leggi anche:
