scheda film]) - who finished writing the project with the director - the story centres around Shauna who, at 70 years of age, believes that the best of her life is behind her. Then she finds Pierre, a married, family man who’s twenty-five years her junior, and whom she’d already crossed paths with and been moved by fifteen years earlier. Each of them as overwhelmed as the other by this reunion, Pierre and Shauna embark on an affair and begin to envisage a shared future together...

Produced by Patrick Sobelman on behalf of Agat Films & Ex Nihilo and by Antoine Rein and Fabrice Goldstein on behalf of Karé Productions, The Young Lovers is co-produced by France 2 Cinéma and by Belgian groups Artemis, BeTV and Voo.
