This result (the third highest obtained by a German title in its first weekend) confirms expectations and bodes well for the local film industry’s end-of-year season, set to be as successful as the first semester (see news).

Adventure comedy Vicky the Viking, based on the Swedish children’s book series (which also inspired a Japanese animated series), was produced in Munich by Constantin, herbX and Rat Pack Filmproduktion.
