), Jean-Bernard Pouy and Nathalie Leuthreau, the film (inspired by the idea of a game of Cluedo) centres on Michel Trémois (Darroussin), a dentist in his fifties. One evening, he ends up in the pharmacy of a provincial railway station in a terrible state and tries to recall the string of events that have turned his life upside down in the space of two days.

He went away for the weekend with his wife Nadine (Godrèche) to rebuild their relationship, but nothing went according to plan. During a wild and turbulent night, there was a series of misunderstandings and comical situations involving some odd and crazy characters.

But Michel has a rude and painful awakening: he is accused of murdering hotel owner Eva Lopez, who is also a famous singer. Meanwhile, his wife is nowhere to be found...

Produced bySylvie Pialat for Les Films du Worso, Holiday is co-produced by Josy Films. It has been pre-bought by Canal + and Ciné Cinéma and has backing from the Midi-Pyrenees region and Sofica Banque Postale.

The five-week shoot took place in Mercuès in the Lot region. French distribution and international sales will be handled by MK2.

Another production by Les Films du Worso, Nicolas Boukrief’s Gardiens De l’Ordre (“Police Officers”, see news), starring Cécile de France, Fred Testot and Julien Boisselier, will be launched in theatres by Gaumont on April 7.
