Celluloid Dreams takes Beloved and Loverboy to Croisette
France’s Christophe Honoré and Romania’s Catalin Mitulescu will front French international seller Celluloid Dreams’s line-up at the Film Market at the 64th Cannes Film Festival (May 11-22, 2011).
The team headed by Hengameh Panahi will sell Honoré’s French/UK/Czech co-production Beloved (see news), which will close the festival out of competition, and Mitulescu’s Romanian/Swedish co-production Loverboy [+see also:

The company will also continue sales for several titles in post-production: Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud’s French/German/Belgian feature Chicken With Plums (see news); Italian director Cristiana Comencini’s When by the Night (produced by Cattleya), which stars Claudia Pandolfi and Filippo Timi in a story of thwarted passion between a single mother and a mountain guide set over 15 years; German director Denis Gansel’s English-language thriller The Year of the Snake, featuring Moritz Bleibtreu and Kasia Smutniak; Santiago Amigorena’s Another Silence, starring Marie-Josée Croze (see news); and Frederick Wiseman’s documentary Désir.
