First feature by Frenchman Franck Guérin, Un jour d'Eté, co-produced by the director’s company, Ostinato Production, with Arte France, two French co-productions prove the importance of France at international level : Le Regard (Negah) (The Gaze) by Iranian Sepideh Farsi, co-produced by the director’s French company (Rêve d'Eau) which Les Films du Paradoxe will distribute in France, and Un matin bonne heure by Guinean Gahité Fofana, co-produced by the director with French Key Light Production, and with Belgian Artémis and Swiss PCT Productions.

And completing this " tour of the European world", two films co-produced across the Atlantic arrive to reinforce the European ranks: MadeinUsa, the fist feature from Peruvian Claudia Llosa, a Spanish co-production with Wanda Films, and Land Of The Blind by Robert Edwards, with Ralph Fiennes and Donald Sutherland heading the cast, a co-production with British Defender Production with the States. A rich programme then for the Old Continent and those it supports in the four corner of the world.
