After eight weeks of shooting in Paris, Calais, Toledo and Alicante (in the Ciudad de la luz studios), director Javier Rebollo finished the principal photography of Lo que sé de Lola [+see also:

(What I know about Lola).
The film is an impossible love story in which a lonely man follows Lola, his object of desire, for years. Without ever noticing his presence, Lola will become a sort of guardian angel to this man. In role of the lovers who never meet are the French actor Michael Abiteboul (Manderlay, Ultranova) and Lola Dueñas (Goya winner for The Sea Inside). For the actress, who is back March 17 on local screens in Almodóvar's Volver [+see also:

, taking part in the film was like "a dream come true after many years". According to the director, Lo que sé de Lola is the fruit of a 10-year collaboration between people who had already worked together before and who got together again in a "different" project, in which "there is no space for dialogues".

Born in Madrid in 1969, Javier Rebollo signed his first short film, En medio de ninguna parte in 1999. The project, which already counted with the presence of Lola Dueñas, marked the beginning of a successful path in the short film domain. Rebollo shot El equipaje abierto (1999), Diminutos del calvario (2001) and En camas separadas (2003), Goya nominated and winner of three awards at the Málaga Film Festival. Co-produced by Malvarrosa Media and Lolita Films (Spain) and Les Productions Lazennec (France), Lo que sé de Lola is Rebollo's debut feature.
