Luciana Castellina will be awarded a prize for her dedication to promoting European cinema during the San Sebastián Film Festival (September 21-30).

Castellina, the honorary president of Cineuropa, was president of the European Parliament’s Cultural Commission and also headed Italia Cinema, the promotional agency for Italian cinema.
