The Jury Grand Prize winner at Cannes 1999 with his short Stop, Marconi followed with three features: 2001’s This Is My Body (selected in Cannes Directors’ Fortnight), 2002's Love Forbidden and 2004’s The Last Day (screened at Rotterdam).
