Shooting wraps on Lacuesta’s The Condemned

by

Director Isaki Lacuesta has finished filming in Barcelona on his debut narrative feature, The Condemned. Apart from Spain, the eight-week shoot also took place in Argentina and Peru.

The title is produced by Benecé in partnership with TVC, Sagrera and Versus Entertainment. The latter company will also manage domestic distribution.

The thriller – co-written by Lacuesta and Isabel Campo – tells the story of two former Argentinean guerrilla fighters (played by Arturo Goetz and Daniel Fanego) who meet again after 30 years as they search for the grave of their missing comrade. The tensions and differences between the two characters soon resurface.
