Shot in Cinecittà, the Italian production (by Massimo Gatti with his Bellatrix Media along with De Nigris Prod.) by the legendary Bronx director is set in a strip joint run by Willem Dafoe. Various secondary roles are filled by illustrious names that include Matthew Modine, Bob Hoskins, Stefania Rocca, a cameo by Riccardo Scamarcio (as Doctor Steven) and Romina Power.
