In the screenplay (based on the novel The Futorological Congress by Polish author Stanislas Lem), Robin Wright (in her own role), is offered by Miramount to be numerically scanned, so that they can freely use her image in cinema productions. 20 years later, she is the guest of honour at the Nagasaki Miramount Congress, which has become a global conglomerate, and which presents its latest invention: to be able to live through your own film on demand, with a simple prescription...

The Congress is a coproduction between Germany, Luxembourg, France, Poland, Belgium and Israel, and has been produced by Pandora, Birgit Folman Film Gang, Entre Chien et Loup, Paul Thiltges Distribution, ARP Sélection, France 2 CinémaOpus Film, la RTBF and Belgacom, with funding from Eurimages amongst others. The international sales are handled by The Match Factory.

The complete selection of the Directors’ Fortnight 2013 will be unveiled at lunch time on April 23rd, at the Forum des Images, in Paris.
