), the screenplay of Lou ! Journal infime focuses on Lou, a young creative and daydreaming 12-year-old girl. She lives alone with her mother, Emma, who set aside her life as a woman to take care of her daughter. Their seemingly comfortable nest nevertheless hides a few flaws: Emma is stagnating and slowly slipping towards melancholia while Lou is obsessed with her young neighbour Tristan, leaving her group of friends behind... Their bubble bursts when Emma begins an emotional rebirth and a first kiss sends Lou straight into the intoxicating years of adolescence.

Produced by Bruno Levy for Move Movie and Harold Valentin for Mother Production, Lou ! Journal infime benefits from coproductions by France 2 Cinéma, Cinéfrance 1888 and StudioCanal (which will handle the French release on October 15, 2014 and international sales). Also pre-purchased by Canal+, filming will continue until January 16 at the Bry-sur-Marne studios and in Paris, with Pierre Millon (the partner of Laurent Cantet amongst others) in charge of cinematography.
