), Noé Debré and Fred Grivois, the screenplay focuses on Vincent, a man in his thirties in the prime of life who is a 300m rifle champion. He leads a quiet middle class contemporary life: a drowsy love life in his couple, a routine job, and radiant projects for the future slowed down by bank debt... This balance, which is more precarious than it first appears, is going to be turned upside down by a sick, intrusive and malevolent father whom Vincent is forced to accommodate in his house whilst he finds him a new place to stay. Now more than ever, the shooting range and Vincent’s passion enable him to escape this rather heavy routine. On this shooting range, he meets Renaud, a sympathetic looking man in his thirties who offers him a rather peculiar contract...

Produced by Iconoclast Films, La résistance de l'air is coproduced by Gaumont (which will handle French distribution and international sales) and Belgian company Nexus Factory. Pre-purchased by Canal+ and backed notably by Back Up Films, the feature film will benefit from six weeks of filming from December 27 to February 15 in the Ile-de-France region and Belgium.

It is worth noting that this is the first feature produced by Iconoclast Films as a delegate, after the company was founded in 2012 and coproduced Wrong by Quentin Dupieux, and Springbreakers by Harmony Korine with its American branch.
