Written by Diastème (who is also a novelist), the plot focuses on a Frenchman born in 1965 in the Parisian region. This is the story of a rage which will take 30 years to fizzle out, that of a louse who will take 30 years to become someone else and who will never forgive himself....

) and Marielle Duigou for Fin Août Production, Un Français is coproduced by France 3 Cinéma and by Mars Films (which will distribute the film in France). Pre-purchased by Canal + and by Orange Cinéma Séries (OCS), the feature film is also supported by the advance on earnings from CNC and by the SOFICAs Cinémage and Soficinéma. The six weeks of shooting which will take place in Paris and in Languedoc-Roussillon will end on 9 July. International sales will be led by Indie Sales.
