Pippa is a comedy about marital strife, following a turbulent divorce. After five years of marriage, Pippa and Glenn cannot stand each other any more, but the separation of goods causes a number of problems, and the more or less well-intentioned interventions from friends and family aren’t really helping anything. Cornered, Pippa is just about ready to do anything to rid herself of Glenn… 

Pippa is played by Nathalie Meskens in her first lead role. The actress has been seen working with Marc Punt before (in Bowling Balls) and has also appeared in Lee & Cindy C [+see also:

The shoot has just kicked off and is scheduled to wrap in July. Pippa is being produced by Independent Productions, in co-production with private television channel VTM, and has received support from the Tax Shelter. With a cast geared for success, the film is looking at a Christmas 2016 release, distributed by Independent Films. Bowling Balls was released during the same period in 2014 and attracted an audience of 150,000, a fantastic result for a Flemish film that wasn’t supported by any official institutions, nor the clout of Kinepolis.
