The movies by film schools in the Cinéfondation Selection and the short films in competition at the 71st Cannes Film Festival (8-19 May) will be judged by a jury set to be chaired by French filmmaker Bertrand Bonello, who is thus stepping into the shoes of previous chairs Cristian MungiuNaomi KawaseAbderrahmane SissakoAbbas KiarostamiJane CampionJean-Pierre Dardenne and Martin Scorsese.
