British actor John Hurt presented the EFA Best Director 2009 nominees at the Seville European Film Festival.

In the interview, Hurt gives his opinion about the future of European films: "I'd love to get away from the idea of a blockbuster. I’d love to get away from a film business in terms of massive returns. I would love to see it as a part of our culture - a culture that we actually wish to be a part of".
